If you find a lower price on an identical item at a local or online retail competitor (including shipping and delivery fees), just show us the competitor’s current ad or show a printout, photo, smartphone display or app, and we’ll match their price. Our price match policy doesn’t apply to certain brands; installation labor; closeout discontinued, clearance, refurbished, used or damaged items. Limited to reasonable quantities. Can’t be combined with other discounts.

How do I request a price match?

Please talk to a sales associate via phone, email, or chat for help with your price match request. After you tell us about the item and price you want to match, we’ll verify the information before completing the price match.

 

What qualifies as proof of a price when requesting a price match?

If you have the competitor’s advertisement, please present the entire printed ad or a photo/photocopy of the ad. Digital versions of printed advertisements are accepted. If you found the price online, please present a link to the price on a qualifying competitor's. A sales associate will then verify the match.

Price match will take into account any shipping and delivery fees. For example, if a competitor is offering an item at $50 plus $10 shipping, the match price will be $60.

Does an item have to be in stock to receive a price match?

Competitor items must be in stock on the competitor’s website at the time a price match is requested.

 

Can I apply the price match to a purchase of a large quantity of items?

We reserve the right to limit requests to reasonable quantities. If you’re looking to buy a significant quantity of a specific item, please contact a sales associate to see if a volume discount is available.

Are there any prices that won’t be matched?

The price match policy doesn’t apply to installation labor, clearance, closeouts, discontinued products and refurbished, used or damaged items. We also won’t match a competitor’s rebate offers, sales tax promotions, senior discounts, buy-one-get-one-free sales or advertising/pricing errors.

Are there any products that never qualify for price match?

There are some brands that prohibit discounting of any kind. These brands include but are not limited to Outdoor Greatroom Company, Paragon-Outdoor, Sojag.

LOWEST-PRICE GUARANTEE TERMS & CONDITIONS

You can submit a price-match request within 60 days from the date of purchase. The item must be purchased from our store so you can request for a price-match.

The price-match can only be applied to an identical model from authorized U.S. e-commerce dealers who are following the Minumum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policies. Once we receive your price-match request, we need to verify the availability of the product first, and the competitor's price before we issue you a refund.

To be more specific, the product from the competitor must have the same U.S. manufacturer's warranty and model number and must have the same components as the product that we have on the Better Backyard website. The product from the competitor must be both brand new and in stock. The product must be from a competitor who has a MAP policy in place.

Match pricing can't be made from brick-and-mortar stores, auction or liquidation sites (such as eBay/Overstock/Wayfair), private sellers, or member-only websites (including but not limited to: Costco, Sam’s Club, BJs, etc).

Temporary pricing errors, clearance, closeout sales, promotions, or coupons are not eligible for the price-match.

Our guarantee for the lowest-price applies to the total cost of purchase and delivery of the item, including processing, handling, shipping, taxes other applicable fees.

If we would incur a loss on the sale, we reserve the right to reject your price-match request. A price match can't be done below wholesale cost for the product.
