One of our customers in Waxhaw, NC has employed his Yardistry 12x24 Meridian Gazebo in a clever and creative way... as a carport!
He started with Yardistry's beautiful 100% cedar Meridian Gazebo in the largest available size - 12x24. At a width of 9' 10" post to post and a height of 86.5" from the ground to the beam (with a little extra height from the concrete footers he used to level and anchor the gazebo), this gazebo perfectly accommodates his pickup. He further enhanced it with a coat of paint, but festooning the gazebo with lights was particularly genius. We think it looks amazing!
He tells us:
I am writing to let you know that we have completed the construction and placement of our Yardistry Meridian 12x24 Gazebo. We absolutely could not be more pleased with the outcome, which of course came about because of the high quality of materials and fabrication of the kit by Yardistry. All of the parts and pre-drilled holes, etc, were perfectly made and fit together amazingly!
We want to say a sincere thank you for your sale of this item to us, and for the way you facilitated its shipment to us in a safe and undamaged manner within the time frame that you promised. You provided excellent support throughout the process, and you directed us to Yardistry Support when we were missing a few items of hardware. Yardistry sent them to us without question extremely fast. As it turned out, I had overlooked the missing hardware items and I actually had them! They were not missing from the kit!
I am attaching a couple pictures of the completed gazebo to encourage you! We built 14x14 inch concrete piers for the legs and feet of the gazebo to rest on; the tops of the piers are all level with each other. As you can see, we are using it for a beautiful carport for my new truck! :-)
